This afternoon members of Dalaradia/RATH hosted some Clonmore House Care Home residents (and some younger visitors) on the one and only Jason from Jays Barber Clubs vintage Ulsterbus.
We planned to take some residents down memory lane in the 42 year old bus. Unfortunately some residents weren’t feeling to good on the day and some couldn’t physically come on board but not to worry, we will be coming back soon with other activities for them to enjoy.
Some resident stories pulled at our heartstrings. One hasn’t left his room in months and came out just to see the bus. Another hasn’t been on a bus since her teenage years as she was an avid walker. That is what it’s all about
